Jason Davids Scott is an Assistant Professor in the School of Film, Dance and Theatre in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts. He teaches courses in Sex and Violence in Cinema and Independent Film, and served as dramaturg for ASU Mainstage productions “Lasso of Truth” and “Titus Andronicus.” Dr. Scott is also running a year long project-based learning initiative about Creature Creation and Special Effects, working with instructors from the Stan Winston School of Character Arts. He is also Vice-President of Publications and Film Studies Area Chair for the Mid-Atlantic Popular & American Culture Association.
